About Us

Ambitious Motivated Winners Training is a dynamic coaching business specializing in soccer, lacrosse footwork, and personal strength training/fitness. What sets me apart is my focus on cultivating the right mindset for success. I emphasize the mental approach to training, believing that the physical results will follow naturally. I have 5+ years of Division 1 Collegiate Athletics and personal training experience. After working with many athletes, I have found that the secret to success is approaching your workouts or sports as a lifestyle. Book an appointment now and let’s get on the road to a transformative lifestyle

My Philosophy is Simple:

  • Ambitious:  What is your goal? Bold and measurable goals are the foundation of outstanding accomplishments.
  • Motivated:  What's your "Why"? Your drive is what propels you forward. My main goal is to help you discover your "why" and use it to motivate yourself to overcome setbacks and remain dedicated.
  • Winners:  When you combine ambition with motivation, winning and physical achievements become inevitable.

Personal Strength Training/Fitness

Being healthy and fit is more than just the physical aspect—it’s a lifestyle. Many people fail to reach their fitness goals because they focus solely on physical outcomes instead of cultivating a mindset of lifelong health and self-care. My sessions push you mentally, with the long-term goal of helping you fall in love with working out to the point where you can sustain it independently.

Soccer – Small Groups and Individuals

My soccer sessions focus on three key areas: understanding the game (Player IQ), speed/agility, and position-specific training. Soccer is a simple game, but playing simply is challenging. I help players enhance their decision-making, refine their overall athletic abilities, and develop positional understanding through physically and mentally demanding drills.

Abel "Mickey" Watson

I was born in Liberia Africa and moved to the U.S when I was 8 years old. I grew up in West Philadelphia playing just about every sport: Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, Football, and Baseball.

I was granted a scholarship to play soccer at Episcopal Academy in 8th grade. After my freshman year, I transferred to South Kent School, an all-boys boarding school in Connecticut. At South Kent, I earned recognition as the CT Gatorade State Player of the Year (2014-15) and was named a High School All-American. I continued my soccer career at Loyola University Maryland, where I captained the team for three years. I received numerous accolades, including being named to the All-Patriot League First Team (2017), earning recognition as a Senior CLASS Award Candidate (2018), and securing a spot on the Preseason All-Patriot League Team (2018). I had a season-ending injury my senior year which led to a transfer to Syracuse University for a medical redshirt year. My playing career ended there due to another injury.
